General Information<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Darwin Lake Holiday Village provides self-catering accommodation, exclusive-use event hire, \n        wedding packages, and associated services within our private lakeside estate. \n        All bookings are accepted in accordance with these Terms &amp; Conditions.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>2. Booking &amp; Payment<\/h2>\n\n    <h3>2.1 How to Book<\/h3>\n    <p>\n        Bookings may be made via our website, email, or by contacting our reservations team. \n        A provisional booking can be held for up to <strong>7 days<\/strong>.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h3>2.2 Deposits &amp; Balance Payments<\/h3>\n    <ul>\n        <li>Accommodation bookings require a <strong>30% deposit<\/strong> upon booking.<\/li>\n        <li>The remaining balance is due <strong>8 weeks before arrival<\/strong>.<\/li>\n        <li>Wedding and event bookings follow a tailored payment schedule agreed at booking.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n    <p>Failure to pay may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.<\/p>\n\n    <h3>2.3 Security Deposits<\/h3>\n    <p>\n        A refundable damage deposit may be requested. This is returned after inspection of the property.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>3. Cancellations &amp; Refunds<\/h2>\n\n    <h3>3.1 Cancellations by Guests<\/h3>\n    <ul>\n        <li>All cancellations must be made in writing.<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Deposits are non-refundable.<\/strong><\/li>\n        <li>\n            Cancellations within <strong>8 weeks<\/strong> of arrival require full payment unless re-let.\n        <\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n    <p>We strongly recommend adequate travel or event insurance.<\/p>\n\n    <h3>3.2 Cancellations by Darwin Lake<\/h3>\n    <p>\n        If we must cancel or amend your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer:\n    <\/p>\n    <ul>\n        <li>A full refund, or<\/li>\n        <li>Alternative dates or equivalent accommodation.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <h2>4. Check-In &amp; Check-Out<\/h2>\n    <ul>\n        <li><strong>Check-in:<\/strong> From 4:00 pm<\/li>\n        <li><strong>Check-out:<\/strong> By 10:00 am<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n    <p>\n        Early check-in\/late check-out may be arranged. Please leave the property clean and tidy.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>5. Use of Accommodation &amp; Venue<\/h2>\n    <ul>\n        <li>Only named guests may occupy the property.<\/li>\n        <li>Maximum occupancy limits must not be exceeded.<\/li>\n        <li>Lead guests are responsible for group behaviour.<\/li>\n        <li>Please keep noise to a minimum after <strong>11 pm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n        <li>No smoking or vaping inside any building.<\/li>\n        <li>Candles, fireworks, and sky lanterns require written approval.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <p>We may terminate a stay without refund for serious breaches.<\/p>\n\n    <h2>6. Pets<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Dogs are welcome in designated cottages by prior arrangement. They must be supervised, controlled, \n        and not left alone. Additional cleaning charges may apply.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>7. Weddings &amp; Events<\/h2>\n    <p>Weddings and events operate under individual contracts, including:<\/p>\n    <ul>\n        <li>Final details required 6 weeks before the event.<\/li>\n        <li>Third-party suppliers must have valid insurance.<\/li>\n        <li>Events may run until 12 am (midweek) or 1 am (Fri\/Sat).<\/li>\n        <li>Clients are responsible for guest and supplier behaviour.<\/li>\n        <li>All d\u00e9cor must be removed after the event unless arranged otherwise.<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n\n    <h2>8. Health, Safety &amp; Liability<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Guests must act responsibly. Children must be supervised near water and woodland areas.\n        We are not responsible for:\n    <\/p>\n    <ul>\n        <li>Loss or damage to personal belongings<\/li>\n        <li>Injury or illness due to misuse of facilities<\/li>\n        <li>Weather or events beyond our control<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n    <p>\n        Outdoor activities by Peak Adventures operate under separate safety procedures.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>9. Damage &amp; Loss<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Damage, breakages, or missing items must be reported. Costs may be charged if repairs or \n        excessive cleaning are required.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>10. Internet &amp; Utilities<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Wi-Fi is available but speeds may vary due to the rural location. Power or service interruptions \n        outside our control cannot be guaranteed.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>11. Data Protection<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Personal data is processed in accordance with our \n        <a href=\"https:\/\/darwinlake.co.uk\/pages\/privacy-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Privacy Policy<\/a>.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>12. Force Majeure<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        We cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or service issues due to events beyond \n        our control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or utility failures.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>13. Complaints<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        Please notify us immediately of any issue so we can assist. Post-departure complaints will be reviewed.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>14. Governing Law<\/h2>\n    <p>\n        These Terms &amp; Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction \n        of the courts of England and Wales.\n    <\/p>\n\n    <h2>15.
