Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) is a once-weekly injectable treatment designed to aid weight loss in adults living with obesity or overweight conditions. It mimics two hormones involved in regulating appetite and blood sugar levels, helping you to feel fuller and eat less.
Using Your Mounjaro Pen:
- Inject once a week, on the same day each week, at any time of day.
- Mounjaro can be taken with or without food.
- Inject subcutaneously into the stomach area, upper thigh, or upper arm.
- Rotate injection sites weekly to avoid irritation.
- Do not inject into muscles or veins.
If you miss a dose and it is within 4 days (96 hours) of the missed injection, administer it as soon as possible. If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and resume your normal schedule.
